Terms & scope

What you're buying, in plain words.

Short on purpose. If something here is unclear before you pay, ask me — that's a better use of both our time than finding out afterwards.

01 What a Revenue Audit is

A written diagnosis of your online store. I go through it as a first-time buyer would, identify the problems I believe are costing you the most money, explain why each one costs it, and redesign the sections where the fix belongs.

It is a diagnosis and a proposal. It is not implementation, and it is not a guarantee of a result.

02 What you receive

03 What it does not include

04 Viewports

The audit is mobile-first. Most of your buyers are on a phone, and that is where the money is decided.

Desktop is included where the problem is specific to desktop. Where the same problem exists on both, it is documented and redesigned once, on mobile — drawing it twice would inflate the deliverable without telling you anything new.

05 Timeline

Delivery is within 15 business days of payment. If anything delays it, you'll hear from me before the deadline, not after.

06 Price and payment

The Revenue Audit is US$ 1,400, fixed scope and fixed price.

Nothing is charged until I have looked at your store and confirmed it is a fit. If it isn't, I'll tell you why and point you somewhere more useful — at no cost.

Once confirmed, I send an invoice. Payment is by international bank transfer in US dollars, and work begins when it clears. A completed W-8BEN accompanies the invoice, so there is nothing for your accountant to chase.

07 If it isn't useful

Full refund within 7 days of delivery, no explanation required. Write to me, and the money goes back the way it came. You keep the files — asking for them back would be theatre, and neither of us needs that.

This exists because you are buying judgement you cannot inspect in advance. The risk of that should sit with me, not with you.

08 Confidentiality and ownership

Everything you send me — your store, your numbers, what you've already tried — stays between us. Paid client work is never published, quoted or shown as an example without your written permission.

The report and the Figma file are yours once paid. Use them, change them, hand them to any developer you like. I keep a copy for my own records and nothing more.

09 Public teardowns are a different thing

Separately from paid work, I publish short teardowns of stores whose owners asked for feedback publicly, on a forum or a public community. Those are free, unsolicited, and based only on what any visitor can see from outside.

10 Removal on request

If you own a store shown here and want it gone, write to hello@ux4business.com. It comes down the same day, from every channel, with no argument and no questions asked.

11 Changes

These terms may change. The version that applies to your audit is the one published on the day you paid, and I'll send you a copy with the invoice so there is no ambiguity later.
